Communicare are a not for profit multi-cultural association, which has 21 Friendship Centres throughout central, east, west and south Auckland.

Our 21 Friendship Centres, which are spread thoughout the area, are friendly and welcoming.

Communicare CMA has been helping people since 1959, with the aid of our volunteer helpers.

Administration/Reception Role-Part-time- Communicare CMA Auckland INC

If you would like to utilise your administrative flair, have compassion for seniors and those with disability needs sector of our Community and enjoy client/staff support then we want you to join our Communicare (not- for- profit) Family.

As our “go to” person you will be able to carry out the role of Administrative Support/Reception with absolute professionalism. Diplomatic by nature your willingness to roll up your sleeves and undertake the most mundane tasks will make the difference to our organisation.

Duties include:

  • Reception
  • Access database/Website/Social Media Management
  • Marketing Support
  • Management/Accounts/Team Support
  • Records Management
  • Minutes
  • General Office Duties

Superb communication is essential in this role; therefore, your command of the English language must be excellent. Proven administrative and reception skills (preferably in a not for profit organisation). An ability to multi- task with a huge healthy dose of a sense of humour so you can deal with people at all levels. Intermediate Microsoft Office, Outlook including Publisher applications will be required.

Communicare CMA Auckland INC is a not for profit established since 1959, we run 21 centres throughout Auckland for the elderly, lonely and disabled by providing recreation, support and advocacy. With 19 paid part-time staff and over 250 Volunteers some with over 40 years of dedication and commitment to Communicare we are an exceptional team to be a part of. The “school” hours will add a huge bonus to your work/life balance. Location wise we are spoilt as we are right in the heart of Royal Oak nestled amongst a group of not-for-profit organizations.
