Governance 2024-25

Elected at the AGM the current board brings to the Organisation a wide range of skills and experience in the Not for Profit sector. We are proud to have a life member on the board who has been involved for over 30 years as a Coordinator, volunteer and now Governance. The Governance brings to Communicare,  Funding, Marketing, Governance, Technology and Health and Wellbeing experience.
Communicare CMA Ak is proud to have the support of the current Governance who all volunteer their time to support the Organisation.

Monika Divis- I joined Communicare in 2019, bringing expertise in organizational development. With roles in advisory committees and not-for-profit boards, I'm committed to supporting Communicare's vital community services. Let's ensure it remains a strong support for all

Parag Bhatnagar -Since 2020, Parag has served as a board member with a keen interest in the digital transformation of Communicare. Outside of the board, Parag leads Intelligent Automation at Health New Zealand. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering degree from the University of London and an MBA from the University of Otago

Ed Rao -d Rao is a Fully qualified Member of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand and Australia with management experience across Crown Owned Public Sector and Private Sector Commercial Entities and has exposure to numerous businesses across Australasia

Marijanne Boxall -Marijanne started as a Public Health Inspector before switching to accounting post raising her family. She held part-time accounting positions for 20 years, notably at Communicare. Despite a break for overseas commitments, she returned to volunteer on the board and later became Chair of the Finance committee s and relishes her volunteering role at Communicare

Michael Matthews Mike’s career started with KPMG, where he qualified as an accountant and held a range of roles in NZ, USA and South-East Asia over 9 years. Then a change of direction saw Mike move into recruitment managing both major key accounts and a successful business unit, at which time he added a post grad HR Diploma to his BCom. Mike then started and exited two recruitment businesses and now works part time as a Commercial Manager. Mike is married to Michelle and parent to 3 young men and his passion is sailing.

Carol Wilson - Carol who has a background as Clinical Psychologist, is the General Manager of Community and Disability services within North and West Auckland and has been in Public Health Leadership sector over 30 years
