How to become a Member

Communicare aims to be as inclusive as possible, though there are just a few minimum requirements to meet.

• Either 65 plus or 50 plus if Māori or Pacific Islander, or with age related needs.  Please ask us as we do have younger members.
• Able to move around with minimal assistance to be able to participate in activities and programmes
• Able to interact socially with others.
• Communicare's focus is inclusiveness, however we are not specialised in disabilities or special needs.
• If you have a support person/care giver, it is important that they stay with you during the session.

Annual Membership Fee: $30
Session Fee: $6 minimum per session
Your contribution covers:

• Meals
• In-house activities
• Unlimited visits to other centres around Auckland (excluding North Shore)
• Communicare magazine
• Trips and outings (may require a small additional contribution)
• A free visit for a friend
• Speakers and special guests
• Loads of fun and friendships

Non-Members
Casual Visitors $20 p.p per visit. 
Social Service visits with Clients for day e.g., IDEA, Aged Concern $20.00 p.p per visit

Social Service Providers
Clients are welcome from independent social service providers, however the criteria must be met and a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding)  in place prior to becoming a member.
